OISY is introducing a new swap feature that can suggest an alternative route when users cannot directly exchange one token for another.
The update addresses situations where a direct swap between two assets is unavailable. Instead of leaving users without an option, OISY can now identify a route involving an intermediate token to complete the exchange.
For example, a user holding USDC on Base who wants to acquire NVDA on Robinhood Chain may be offered a two-step route through USDG.
The platform suggests the intermediate swap, setting up the first transaction for the user. However, users remain in control and must review and approve each swap separately.
OISY says it only offers swaps that it can check before users approve them. Where a direct route is unavailable, the suggested alternative provides another way to move between the requested assets.
The feature aims to make cross-chain token swaps more accessible while retaining user oversight over individual transactions.
The two-step suggestion does not mean the entire exchange happens automatically. Users still need to assess and approve both stages of the proposed route.
