OISY adds direct cycle top-ups for Internet Computer canisters

OISY has introduced a feature allowing users to add compute resources to Internet Computer canisters directly from within its wallet interface.

The update enables users to top up any canister using their TCYCLES balance, removing the need to leave OISY to carry out the transaction.

Cycles are used on the Internet Computer to pay for computation, storage and other network operations. Canisters, which are the network’s smart contracts and application containers, consume cycles as they run.

The new feature brings cycle management closer to users’ existing wallet activities and could simplify the process of maintaining applications and services on the network.

OISY announced the change with the message that users can now top up any canister directly from their TCYCLES balance.
