Internet Computer-based payment project icPay says its developer package, icFalcon, has recorded more than 3,100 downloads.
The project shared the figure in a social media post, thanking users for their support and acknowledging Pierre Samaties and its engineering team.
ICFalcon is described by icPay as a framework for building applications on the Internet Computer. It provides a project structure that separates backend functions into four layers: API, services, repositories and storage. It also includes a Next.js frontend, Internet Identity authentication and a command-line interface for creating modules, running tests and deploying applications.
Developers can start a project using the command:
npm create icfalcon@latest myApp
The framework is intended to reduce the amount of initial setup required when developing applications on the Internet Computer, where developers typically work with tools such as Motoko, dfx and npm.
The reported 3,100 downloads indicate interest in the package, although the figure was shared by icPay and has not been independently verified. Download counts also do not necessarily represent unique developers or active projects
